Description
The family of servitude and great honor, those hailing from the planet Mau.
Mau was having financial troubles so Queen Selenity decided to travel there to see if she could help out. While there, she met the young Mau maiden, Celeste, whose brilliant plan was being unheard because of her age and gender. Not one to ignore true talent when she saw it, Selenity made Celeste the offer to come live on the Moon Kingdom as her personal advisor. And, not wanting Celeste to feel alone, she offered to allow Celeste choose a 'court' of sorts, a group of Mau citizens Celeste felt were worthy of aiding the Lunarians. She brought along her new husband and her closest friends and all were blessed with a Lunarian symbol.
Celeste's daughter Deidre was not chosen as the next advisor and she instead married a Lunarian man. They had twins, Andrew and Andromeda. Andromeda was selected to be Selenity Luna's advisor while Selenity Luna was still just a princess, the two having a near life-long bond. When Selenity Luna became Sailor Moon, Andromeda was immediately at her side to help her in any way possible, choosing her cat form so that she would be fast and compact. She even saved Selenity Luna's life on one occassion.
When Selenity Luna had two daughters, they both decided that have an advisor. The elder daughter, Serenity, chose Andromeda's daughter, Luna, who was named in honor of the queen she'd served. The younger daughter, Cytheria, chose a young man named Artemis. Andrew's daughter Demeter was a close second for Luna's spot, considered a second-in-command to Luna, and was given the task of assisting King Apollo and the princesses Serendipity and Harmony on their misson. Luna and Artemis also did double duty as the trainers to the senshi. When the Moon Kingdom fell, Luna and Artemis were sent to the future to assist their senshi further. Demeter was also kept with her girls and sent into the future as well.
When the 30th Century rose, Luna continued to act as an advisor, this time to Neo Queen Serenity. Artemis took up the role as Minako's advisor and Demeter stayed on with Serendipity. Luna and Artemis were wed and had a daughter of their own, Diana, who would go on to become Lady Serenity's advisor. Demeter's daughter Cora would be Elysian Serenity's advisor, despite the fact that Elysian Serenity never rose to the throne.
Diana and Cora were the last of the line of Mau advisors as Queen Serenity Marisha never had one (she did not get along too well with the Mau people) and Elysian Nyx's crown is quite new.
